Generally, NTA does not release the NEET admit card release date in advance. However, the NEET 2025 admit card release date was announced in the information bulletin. The release of NEET 2026 notification will inform about the release date of admit card.

No, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination without a valid photo ID. Candidates were advised to keep the following three things ready with them, a day before the examination; a valid photo ID proof, NEET admit card, and a recent passport-sized photograph. These are the mandatory documents to be produced during entry to the NEET exam centre. The valid photo identity card which will be allowed at the NEET exam centre include Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id, etc. The NEET admit card is also required to have the passport and postcard-sized photographs pasted on it.

Yes, candidates have to carry an extra passport-sized photograph on the day of the examination. This photograph has to be affixed on the attendance sheet in front of the invigilator. The passport-size photograph should be the same as that uploaded during the NEET 2025 application process. However, candidates should not sign on the photograph that is meant to be pasted on the attendance sheet as per the instruction given by NTA on the NEET admit card. To be on the safer side, candidates are advised to carry more than one passport-size photograph to the exam centre, along with the other permissible items.

Candidates can check the login credentials that they have entered. The password for the registered account is case sensitive, thus, they have to enter the password carefully. If they are still unable to download the admit card of NEET, they can enquire at the NTA NEET helpline number 011 69227700, 011 40759000. In case candidates are unable to download the NEET admit card from the exam website, then they can try to do so from DigiLocker or Sandes App.

Candidates are advised to get the NEET 2024 admit card signed by a parent/ guardian as soon as they download it. If a candidate fails to get the admit card signed, he/ she will not be allowed to appear for the entrance test. Hence, test-takers must ensure that they got the NEET admit card signed by their parents as soon as the admit cards are released. In case candidates' parents are not in the same city, then they will have to make necessary arrangements to get it signed by parents or guardians who have the authority to sign in lieu of parents. In case of absence of both, test-takers may contact NTA for a resolution.

Candidates have to sign on the NEET admit card in presence of the invigilator. This acts as a proof of attendance for the exam day. In case a candidate signs it before that, he/she should discard the document and take a fresh print out and follow the instructions carefully. If a candidate realises this after reaching the exam centre, then they must notify the exam centre authorities and seek for their approval to allow them to appear for the exam. Otherwise, they should take a printout of the NEET admit card from the exam centre or from the vicinity.

Candidates are advised to take a coloured printout of the NEET admit card. However, it is not compulsory. NTA does not state any guideline regarding this. They should carry two to three spare copies of the NEET admit card for future use. However, in case a candidate does not have access to a coloured printer, s/he can take a black and white printout of the NEET admit card as well, but the details such as photograph and text should be clearly visible. Test takers have to paste their photograph in the space provided and should not have signed on it. The Self Declaration Undertaking has to be filled up prior to the exam day.
