The cut-off for Aeronautical engineering varies by exam and institution. For 2024 addmissions, the relevant cut-offs are as follows:
1.TNEA -> OC: RANK 2600-2700
BC: RANK 4500-4600
SC: Rank 129000-13000

You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.

NIT Coimbatore is not difficult to get admission at. The Institute offers admission based on merit and entrance, depending on the course. Shortlisted candidates then receive TNEA counselling for admission to any of the BTech specialisation. Similarly, for admission to MBA or MTech, candidates are shortlisted based on TANCET score. After the merit or entrance based shortlisting, candidates are summoned to fulfill remaining of the selection round and receive the final admission.

NIT Coimbatore BTech cutoff 2024 has been released for BTech courses in the form of opening and closing ranks. As per 3rd Round of Seat Allotment, the closing rank has been released for BTech in Civil Engineering and BTech in Food Technology. The cutoff for the students belonging to the General All India Quota stood at 164329 and 122024, respectively, for the above-mentioned courses.
