Okay! So you need to get a decent score in 12th board examinations.The criteria keeps on changing that is updated by NTA (National Testing Agency). Mostly, the criteria that is followed is scoring above 75 %.While this criteria will help you getting admissions in NITs with clearance of Jee Mains and IITs with clearance of Jee advance.In NSUT, you would get admissions purely on the basis of Jee Mains and there is no such value for Boards. Further you need to get a decent rank in Jee Mains to get a admission in NSUT.All depends on how good rank you make it to and seats availability for the branches you prefer for. That part gets covered in the Counseling part carried out by JAC DELHI (Joint Admission Counselling).

FOR NITS: (generally)

75% (12th Boards)->Jee Mains qualified (good rank!) ->GETS A SEAT IN NIT 

FOR IITS: (generally)

75% (12th boards)->Jee Mains (good rank;with qualifying for advance) ->Jee advance (clearing with good rank)-> GETS A SEAT IN IIT 

FOR NSUT: (generally)

Get a good rank in Jee mains->JAC counselling -> GETS A SEAT IN NSUT
