No, there is no option for direct admission into the courses offered at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) (formerly Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology). The university admits students into its MBA programmes based on CAT scores and subsequent CMAC counselling. For M.Tech courses, NSIT selects students for admission through CCMN counselling. Moreover, admission into PhD programmes at NSIT is through a written exam/PI round conducted by the institute itself. NSIT only gives admission based on JEE Main rank.

The NSUT has not disclosed the 2024 placement data. However, the NIRF report for 2024 has been released. The study states that 977 BTech and 93 M.Tech students were placed at Netaji Subhas University of Technology in 2023. The median package offered to BTech and M.Tech students at NSUT placements in 2023 was INR 17 LPA and INR 15 LPA, respectively. Netaji Subhas University of Technology has a separate hostel for boys and girls. The hostel has a wide range of facilities to ensure that students enjoy a vibrant campus life.
