Rutgers University – Newark is one of the many campuses of Rutgers University and is located in the largest state in the city.  Rutgers University has three regional campuses located in New Brunswick, Newark, and Camden. The campus of Rutgers University has 31 buildings, with 38 acres of beautiful landscaped open spaces with an urban vibe.

US News has ranked Rutgers - New Brunswick in the top 20 national universities in US for 2022-23. It has been ranked #19, a slight move from #23 from last year. While Rutgers - Newark was at no. 53, it has also moved upwards and among the top 100 public universities in the US. For social mobility, Rutgers-Newark was ranked in the top 10 of national universities at #7 while Rutgers-New Brunswick #63. Since 2019, U.S. News has factored in the school’s success at promoting social mobility by measuring the success of students who received Federal Pell Grants.

Hi Nilay, what you should study should be known to you, if you still haven't decided then I think you are not prepared to go abroad yet. If you are confused with the subjects then find out your aptitude, likes and dislikes, favourite subjects, most hated subjects etc. There are many courses offered by universities in US, you can browse through university websites and find relevant majors etc and also you can choose your major later.
To get a scholarship you have to do well in your academics, SAT etc and must also have extracurricular activities. Target a SAT score of 1400 and above. Start researching on university admission requiremen
