Nilamber Pitambar University Eligibility

Nilamber Pitambar University selection criteria varies for the courses. The selection criteria for the courses are given below: 

UG: The admission process is based on merit score obtained in Class 12 or equivalent exams. 

MDS/BDS: The admission process for these programmes is entrance based. Candidates are required to appear for the required entrance and clear the cutoff set by the university to get the final admission offer.

However, the common eligibility for the PG courses that they must have completed their UG from a recognised univeristy and in a relevant course, and for the UG courses is that candidates must have completed Class 12. 

In order to be considered for admission to Nilamber Pitambar University's BTech program, applicants must have finished their 10+2 coursework with a minimum of 50% overall, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics serving as required courses. The main factor determining admission is a candidate's performance in the JEE Main exam or the entrance exam administered by the Jharkhand government. The institution offers counselling meetings as part of the selection process, where candidates' preferences and test results are taken into account when allocating seats in the various engineering fields.

In order to be admitted to Nilamber Pitambar University's BSc program, applicants must have earned at least a 50% in their 10+2 coursework. The qualifying test should cover topics from the Science group that are pertinent to the selected stream. The selection method is mostly merit-based, taking into account the total scores in the top four 10+2 subjects (not including environmental science). Candidates from reserved categories, such as SC, ST, or PwD, may be able to have their qualifying marks relaxed by up to 5%.
