Here is the list of documents you must carry to the NIMCET test centre -
- Printed copy of your NIMCET admit card
- A valid government-issued photo ID (e.g. Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, or Voter ID). No soft copies will be accepted.

Please note that calculators, mobile phones or any electronic gadgets are strictly NOT allowed in the exam hall.

This usually happens when there are not enough participants for that particular centre. Authorities then cancel a NIMCET exam centre and allot the exam centre according to the next order of preference of the candidate, or the closest geographically available centre.

No, once your NIMCET exam centre is allotted and the admit card is issued, you cannot change the centre. The allotted location is final, even if it's outside your initial preferences. If you have urgent concerns, reach out to the NIMCET helpline, but generally, no changes are permitted after admit card release.

The authorities have the right to cancel a NIMCET exam centre, if there are not enough participants for that particular centre. The exam centre can also be cancelled if the authorities find a valid reason. In a situation where none of the three choices indicated by the candidate is available (which is unlikely), one of the available centres that is geographically the nearest to the first preference centre will be allotted.

No. Once an exam centre is allotted, it can't be changed. While filling the NIMCET application form, please cross-check and select the exam centres only if you are sure of the selected ones. However, in case of an emergency, you may request the authorities, but the final decision or discretion to change the exam centre will remain with them.

Candidates can select the exam centre of their preference while applying for the NIMCET exam. Three centres need to be selected in the order of preference. The authorities will allot the NIMCET exam centres after checking the preferences of the candidates and the seat availability. Most of the candidates will be allotted centres that are within their first preferences. Therefore, the candidates are advised to be very careful while submitting their preferences in the application form.
