NIT Patna NIMCET cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the MCA course and its various specialisations in the form of ranks.
For the General AI category, the overall cutoff varied between 491 and 787. According to the last round, the most demanding MCA specialisation was Master in Computer Application (AI & IoT). The cutoff was also released for other categories. Students can click here to know more.

Yes. Candidates will need to meet all the requirements mentioned in the NIMCET eligibility criteria, which will be offiically announced by the authorities. Before NIMCET registration, the candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria. Ineligible candidates will not be considered for admission into the participating institutes. For admission, all candidates will have to qualify NIMCET.

The eligibility criteria to appear in NIMCET is
- Candidate must have passed any UG programme of minimum three years duration with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects
OR
- BE/ BTech from a recognised University/Institution
- Candidate must have at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST/PwD) in graduation
Candidate who are appearing in the final year exam of their graduation are also eligible to appear in exam however they need to submit the pass certifiate at the time of admission in the institute.

or (ii) B.E. / B.Tech. From a recognised University/Institution are eligible to appear for NIMCET-2023.
