Students must apply for TNEA. For TNEA. Candidates need to passed HSC or equivalent with minimum 50% marks. And NIOS offers senior secondary course equivalent to class 12th. So, TNEA accepts NIOS. Please click the link below for details. https://www.shiksha.com/university/anna-university/tnea-exam.

There is no such distinction of NIOS students for admissions in DU. You will be totally eligible, but the admissions are based on merit so you will need to score accordingly. I suggest seeking out last year's merit list to get a general idea as it varies each year.
