NIT Delhi conducts admissions to its flagship BTech and M.Tech courses through the entrance test basis. Students can appear for the prominent accepted exams for Engineering programs and obtain valid scoring. Entrance exams include Junior Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), and Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan (CCMT).

National Institute of Technology, Delhi (Location-Narela area of Delhi) isconnected to the major transportation modes. Students can arrive at the IGI Airport, & take a 1-hour drive to reach the campus of NIT Delhi. For students who opt for rail travel, they can arrive at the Delhi (Old) Railway Station & take a 45-minute drive to reach NIT Delhi.

NIT Delhi CCMT cutoff 2026 was released for the third round of admission to the MTech course and its various specialisations. The General AI category students need to attain a score of at least 411 to be qualified for admission.
For the OBC AI category, the minimum score required was 365 in the same round. Students can check the table below to know the minimum score required by other categories.

NIT Delhi JEE Main cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the BTech courses for the first round. The cutoff was released for different All India and Home State quota categories in the form of ranks.
For the General AI category, the first round cutoff ranged from 5912 to 25040, wherein B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering was the most preferred course for admission.
On the other hand, for the General HS category, the first round cutoff ranged from 9119 to 30529, with BTech CSE being the most difficult course for admission.
