NIT Delhi JEE Main cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the BTech courses for the first round. The cutoff was released for different All India and Home State quota categories in the form of ranks. 

For the General AI category, the first round cutoff ranged from 5912 to 25040, wherein B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering was the most preferred course for admission. 

On the other hand, for the General HS category, the first round cutoff ranged from 9119 to 30529, with BTech CSE being the most difficult course for admission. 

Cutoff for other rounds, categories, rounds, etc, will vary.

You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.

The overall placement rate recorded during NIT Delhi BTech placements 2026 was 93.83%. In 2025 and 2024, the placement rate was 86.28% and 93%.

MTech placement rate in 2025 was 65.35%. In 2024 and 2023, the placement rate was below 30%.

The tuition fees for BTech courses at NIT Kurukshetra are INR 5 lakh,  and the tuition fees for BTech at NIT Delhi are INR 5 Lacs too. Hence, the tuition fee is the same for both NITs. Yes, NIT Delhi does offer M.Tech courses for two years. The institute offers several specialisations in M.Tech courses, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc. The eligibility criteria required for admissions to M.Tech courses are candidates must qualify for their bachelor's from a relevant stream such as MSc in Chemistry/ Physics/  Material and relevant disciplines for admissions to M.Tech in Industrial Chemistry, BE/ BTech/ BSc (Engineering)/ MCA/  MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Computing for M.Tech in Mathematics Computing, etc. 

All the programmes of NIT Delhi are entrance exam based and seats are allotted through individual counselling. M.Tech seats are allotted through CCMT counselling. NIT Delhi M.Tech cutoff 2025 has not been released yet.
