In 2023, NIT Delhi BTech placements had the highest and average package offered at INR 82 LPA and INR 17.72 LPA, respectively. Additionally, 88.3% of BTech placements at NIT Delhi in 2023 were filled. 2023 was the year that 89% of the entire CSE batch was placed. Aside from this, the average package offered during the 2023 NIT Delhi M.Tech placements was INR 14.91 LPA, while the maximum package offered was INR 23.13 LPA. 29% of candidates were placed during the NIT Delhi M.Tech placements in 2023. No, admission to NIT Delhi for BTech is subject to a valid score in JEE Main followed by JoSAA Counselling.To get admission to NITs, students have to clear the JEE Main exam, meet eligibility requirements, and complete the counselling process. Moreover, candidates need to qualify for the JEE Main cutoff for NITs 2024 to be eligible for admission. There is no defense quota in NITs. That means, there is no defense quota in NIT Delhi also. But, there is a defense quota in some other engineering colleges, like Delhi Technological University (DTU). Admissions through defense quota depend on your priority category.
