NIT, Delhi has a good placement record. The College provides in-campus placement as well and also provides ample internship opportunities for the students. The Placement rate of the college lies between 80-82%. The highest Placement was 25 LPA and the average Placement was 12 LPA. The companies visiting the college for Placements are  Accenture, Cognizant, and HCL. The application process of NIT Delhi is same for all the candidates. NIT Delhi application process is online. The institute accepts JEE Main scores for admission to its BTech programme. Admissions to NIT Delhi are granted through the JoSAA counselling. Candidates who want to pursue higher education from NIT Delhi must appear for the course-specific entrance exams accepted by the institute. The analysis of previous years cutoff trends shows that the cutoff for CSE is expected to be 13203-13207 for home state general category. On the other hand, NIT Delhi cutoff for OBC for CSE can fall between 3666-3670 for other state general category.Students can visit josaa.nic.in, the official website, to view the JoSAA 2024 seat allotment status. In 2023, NIT Delhi BTech placements had the highest and average package offered at INR 82 LPA and INR 17.72 LPA, respectively. Additionally, 88.3% of BTech placements at NIT Delhi in 2023 were filled. 2023 was the year that 89% of the entire CSE batch was placed. Aside from this, the average package offered during the 2023 NIT Delhi M.Tech placements was INR 14.91 LPA, while the maximum package offered was INR 23.13 LPA. 29% of candidates were placed during the NIT Delhi M.Tech placements in 2023. Additionally, during the previous three years, there has been an improvement in the average package offered for NIT Delhi BTech placements.

The Cutoff for M.Tech in CSE closed at 680 for the General AI category candidates. No, admission to NIT Delhi for BTech is subject to a valid score in JEE Main followed by JoSAA Counselling.To get admission to NITs, students have to clear the JEE Main exam, meet eligibility requirements, and complete the counselling process. Moreover, candidates need to qualify for the JEE Main cutoff for NITs 2024 to be eligible for admission.
