No, but this rank will not get a seat in NIT for B.Arch. You can still apply for good private colleges such as Manipal University which takes admissions on MU-OET. Hope it helped.

If you have got that category rank then sorry you won't get any NIT for core branch though you have chances to get some decent government college in last few rounds.

You should have scored more than 75% in your 12th exams and your rank should be around 5000 in B.Arch to get NIT.

Hello,
I hope you are doing well. You have very good marks and rank in JEE Mains paper hence you are eligible to get the admission in NITs along with your favourite branch. Go for councelling, fill NITs with top ranking preference and get the best one along with your favourite branch.
All the best.

For admission in NITs, one should get at least 75% in 12th and then appear in the JEE Mains exam and score a good rank in it. Previous years cutoffs for various NITs are on:
josaa.nic.in
Also for choosing NITs, you should visit josaa.nic.in on respective date of counselling as mentioned in the website of JoSAA. There you should fill up your choices
that is you have to arrange the various branches in various NITs as per you want them.
Best of luck.

You can get admission but in not so good NIT. Moreover, if you are able to land up a good branch, it may compensate the name of a low rank NIT.
