As per NIT Kurukshetra JEE Main cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for BTech in IT was 10824 for General All India category students. In comparison, the last round closing rank for BTech in IT was 10891 in 2022 and 8274 in 2021. Popular courses with eligibility and selection criteria is as follows:
MTech Pass with UG or PG degree GATE + CCMT Counselling
MBA UG or PG degree with 50% CAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ MAT
MCA UG degree with 60% NIMCET
PhD UG degree with 60% UGC NET, GATE

To be able to get admission at NIT Kurukshetra for BTech, candidates need to qualify in national-level entrance exams like JEE Main. After the eligibility criteria are met, candidates have to first get enrolled on the official website of the exam conducting body and fill the application form. Then, the shortlisted candidates can participate in the counselling process conducted by JoSAA for seat allotment. In addition, for entry into any NIT, including Kurukshetra NIT, clearing the JEE Mains exam with at least 75% score is mandatory.

For admission at NIT Kurukshetra candidates'll have to submit several such documents such as signed photocopied mark sheets with Class 10 and Class 12 or other university examination results of the applicant. In addition, they will require an attested photocopy of certificate or provisional certificate issued along with qualifying examination proof relating to the date of birth, recent color photograph. They also need an entrance test scorecard, if required, category certificates and job experience certificate.
