NIT Manipur establishes different cutoff ranks per category which shows the general category requiring 214958 for HS and 29637 for OS applicants. The CSE cutoff ranks for HS and OS at NIT Manipur stand at 105233 for HS and 11064 for OS for OBC-NCL students while for SC category students these marks become 27870 for HS and 4645 for OS . Additionally, ST students require 2942 for HS and 1922 for OS . NIT Manipur designates 5162 ranks for EWS candidates seeking admission through the Other State category and PwD candidates need to achieve 675 ranks to be eligible. If we compare NIT Manipur and NIT Hamirpur, based on their tuition fees, we will see that NIT Manipur has a more affordable tuition fee for M.Tech than NIT Hamirpur. National Institute of Technology Hamirpur and National institute of Technology Manipur are the two top colleges for MTech admissions. Both colleges accept GATE CCMT scores for the admission to the MTech and MTech Integrated courses. NIT Hamirpur cutoff 2024 for Round 6 for the CSE specialisation stood at 374 and 453 for 2023 and 2024, respectively. Similarly, NIT Manipur cutoff for Round 6 stood at 357 and 400 for 2023 and 2024, respectively.
