Yes, NIT Puducherry does offer scholarships. The schemes are given only to selective students who meet the eligibility. The scholarship schemes are as below:
- National Scholarship Programme scheme
- Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top-Class education for SC students

Students have to submit some documents during NIT Puducherry admission and application. The general list is as below:
- Class 10 marksheet/ Certificate
- Class 12 marksheet & Certificate
- UG degree marksheet & Certificate
- PG degree marksheet & Certificate
- Offer Letter
- Certificate of sponsorship - if applicable
- No objection certificate from parent employer - if applicable
- Fees Receipt
- Aadhaar Card/ ID Proof

Students need not apply separately for NIT Puducherry BTech after JoSAA. However, for institute-level rounds to fill up the vacant seats for MTech/ MSc programmes or for PhD application, a separate application is needed. Students can check the official site to know more.

NIT Puducherry fee structure is different for each programme. Students have to pay the fees through UPI/ Card/ Net Banking. The fees for top programmes is as below:

Yes, getting admission in NIT Puducherry is somewhat hard. The institute is one of the top Engineering institutes and is part of the 31 NITs. With the cutoff for top BTech specialisations being high and seats being limited, the admission chances are difficult. Students have to clear the admission rounds and score well in the accepted tests. With right planning, students can get admission in the institute.

Yes, students may get a seat in NIT Puducherry BTech with 92 percentile in JEE Main through JoSAA counselling. The cutoff is high for specialisations, such as CSE. With NITPY being one of the top institutes and part of the NIT Tag, the cutoff is always high. But 92 percentile can be enough for later rounds of JoSAA. Students can check the last year trend to know more.
