To get admission in NIT Puducherry MTech, students have to check the eligibility first. Eligible students can then apply online. The institute mainly offers seats through GATE + CCMT counselling basis. Selected students have to pay the admission fees to complete the process.

NIT Puducherry BTech admissions are highly unlikely with 75 percentile in JEE Main, especially for the General category. The institute sees a high cutoff for BTech's All India Quota. With 75 percentile, admission may be possible for reserved categories. Students can check the last year cutoff to know more.

Yes, you can join NIT Puducherry without GATE, but only through specific alternative admission channels such as the Self-Support M.Tech program, Sponsored/QIP (Quality Improvement Program), or DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad). Regular M.Tech seats are primarily filled via GATE and CCMT counseling.

Yes, getting admission in NIT Puducherry is somewhat hard. The institute is one of the top Engineering institutes and is part of the 31 NITs. With the cutoff for top BTech specialisations being high and seats being limited, the admission chances are difficult. Students have to clear the admission rounds and score well in the accepted tests. With right planning, students can get admission in the institute.
