Yes, students can get admission in NIT Srinagar without JEE Mains. But this is possible only for non-BTech programmes. To get BTech admission at any NIT, JEE Mains is mandatory. For courses, such as MSc, MTech, MBA, other exams are accepted. But for BTech, a student can't join NIT Srinagar without JEE Mains.

NIT Srinagar is one of the top Engineering institutes of India. To get admission in the flagship BTech programme, students have to score well in JEE Main. For other courses too, getting good score is mandatory. 70 Percentile is generally too low of a score. Especially for the general category AIQ for the popular branches.
