National Institute of Technology Srinagar (NIT Srinagar) is one of 31 NITs in India, designated an Institute of National Importance. The institute is located in Hazratbal area of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir — lakeside setting near Dal Lake and the Shankaracharya Hill.
