Admission criteria to NIT Srinagar is both, merit and entrance based and is different for all UG and PG programmes. To get into UG programmes, the eligibility criteria is the minimum aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent, along with entrance exams. The eligibility for BTech courses at NIT Srinagar is Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 75% in any stream from any recognised state or national board, along with a valid score in JEE Main.
