NIT Trichy offers various specialisations under its MTech programme. Some of the specialisations are Mtech in Data Analytics, Environmental Engineering, and more. For all the specialisations, the institute offers an equal number of seats, i.e., 28. Combining all, the institute offers 658 seats for the MTech programme.

As per the NIT Trichy NIRF report 2024, the 2023 median package for MTech courses stood at INR 10 LPA. Other than this, as sources across the web, the highest package offered during placement drive 2023 stood at INR 52.89 LPA. Some of the renowned companies that were part of NIT Trichy placements in recent years included Google, Facebook, Infosys, Oracle.

NIT Trichy admissions 2024 are based on NIMCET scores for MCA course. With a 70 percentile in 12th, candidates can easily get into NIT Trichy through NIMCET exam. Below are the basic percentile criteria for eligibility to be fulfilled by the candidates.

NIT Trichy NIMCET cutoff 2024 has been concluded after the release of Last Round for MCA admission. The cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks for different categories under the AI quota. For the General AI category candidates, the cutoff closed in Round 4 at 52. For the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff for the same course closed at 130.

National Institute of Technology Trichy and National institute of Technology Surathkal (Karnataka) are the two prominent colleges for MSc admissions. Both colleges accept CCMN scores for the admission to the MSc courses. NIT Trichy Last Round cutoff score for MSc in Physics specialisation stood at 945 and 880 for 2023 and 2024, respectively. NIT Trichy accepts CCMN scores for admission to MSc courses. Candidates who qualify for JAM are called for the CCMN Counselling 2024. CCMN Counselling was held for up to six rounds. Tabulated below is the Last Round Seat allotment result for CCMN for MSc courses offered at NIT Trichy:

National Institute of Technology Trichy admissions is based on the CCMN scores. To get into NIT Trichy through CCMN, General Category candidates need to score a minimum of 95+ percentile score to get into top NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, etc. For reserved category candidates,  85+ percentile score is enough to get into one of the top NITs.
