The overall NIT Trichy vibe is quite positive. The university has a lively environment. NIT Trichy provides UG and PG students with all the needed facilities. NIT Trichy is well-equipped with all the modern classrooms, a library, hostels, and computer labs, among others. Some of the other campus facilities include:

  • Classrooms
  • Communication facilities
  • Computing facilities
  • Library & Information Centre
  • Training and conference facilities
  • Equipment labs and others

Looking at the facilities, one can say that students feel happy studying in this university.

The placement rate recorded during NIT Trichy PG placements 2025 was 85.1%. In UG programs, overall placement rate recorded in 2024 was 88.9%.

Yes, NIT Trichy does have an HS quota. For the OBC AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 119 to 33628, according to the first and last rounds. 

On the other hand, for the OBC HS quota, the cutoff varied between 151 and 38496 for BArch and various BTech course branches. Considering the last round cutoff rank for both quotas, we can see that the OBC HS quota had slightly accessible ranks in comparison to the OBC AI category. 

Students can refer to the table below for the last round cutoff ranks for various courses for both the Al and HS quota.

NIT Trichy JEE Main cutoff 2025 concluded with the release of the final round cutoff list for various All India and Home State quota categories. The overall closing cutoff varied from 151 to 24515 for the General AI category students. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the cutoff range for all other Al quota categories.

NIT Tiruchirappalli cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to MSc specialisations on the basis of CCMN scores. The cutoff was released for the 161 and 703 for the General AI category candidates. Therefore, the lowest rank to get admission to the college for the General AI category is 161. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the ranks varied between 382 and 1041. For the OBC AI category candidates, the lowest rank was 382.

You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.
