The exposure depends on college. It doesn't matter what branch you take, if you take some local college with no reputation. I'm doing my final year mechanical in NITT and I can say that things are going well for me and people in my batch.

Hello,
To get into top three NITs, you should have more than 60% and for good branches like CSE and ECE, you need to score 70-80%.

I don't think that you will get NIT but search for other colleges through your NATA score or with this score, you may go to some reputed private institutions like Amity, ITM, etc.
Wish you luck.

Hello Surya,
As per your marks in JEE Main paper 2, your chances are nil for getting NIT Trichi, so look forward for other colleges.
All the best.

Yes, sure. Your score is good enough to get you into one of the NITs. Considering last year's cut-off, you should be able to make it to NIT Raipur or NIT Hamirpur.

There are chances that you might get into one of the NIT's, maybe NIT Hamirpur or NIT Raipur. There closing rank goes sufficiently far every year to fetch you a seat. So, go ahead for the counselling. Moreover, there is always a change every year but you can try at least.
