Hello,B.Tech admissions at NIT Warangal, than NITs, IITs and GFTIs do not offer any B.Tech lateral admission for their courses. The admission in NITs is based on ranks obtained in JEE Main exam. Further, the minimum eligibility criteria for admissions in NITs is 10+2 with Physics, Math and any one subject among the Chemistry, Bio or Biotechnology with minimum 75% of marks. Hence on the basis of engineering Diploma, you can not get admission in NIT Warangal. Thank you.

All IITs and NITs are the best because these are the these are governed by the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961 and National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007 respectively and declared as the institutions of national importance.
The admission procedure and placement statistics of IITs and NITs are at top with respect to any other Institutes.

It depends on the cutoffs of various University. But with this percentile you can't get any IIM. Aaj per previous years the average cutoff for any IIM is about 80 percentile, but you may get LIBA, Chennai and XIME, Bangalore.

You have a good score and you should try for the NIT you want, probably you will not be able to get Core branch like mechanical CS and IT. You may get a low preference branch there. Best of luck.
