NL Dalmia is a recognised research centre of University of Mumbai in the area/ subject of Management Studies for PhD course. All admissions for PhD shall be through an entrance test (PET) conducted by the university and the interviews conducted by Research Centres. PET will be conducted by the university subject wise and validity of PET would be for three years from the date of results. The students who have passed PET will have to appear for selection interview conducted by the panel of interviewers as per university guidelines at the Research Centre.

The mode of application is online for all the courses. Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 2,000 for any one PGDM specialisation. Candidates can pay the application fee via any of the online payment mode. Aspirants who are shortlisted for admission, need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat.

At the postgraduate level, N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research offers two-year PGDM courses to students. The eligibility criteria for the postgraduate courses is a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% to 55 % aggregate. The accepted entrance exams are MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, MHT CET, MAH CET, and others. CAT 2023 exam is expected to take place on November 26.
