NLu Assam offers ‘Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme’ with the view to supporting students from economically backward classes in their pursuit of education. This scholarship helps students who are pursuing BA, LLB (HONS) five year integrated course, i.e., students of the second; third; fourth and fifth years. The scholarship will be provided to students whose family income is less than INR 8 lakh.

Yes, NLU Assam accepts CLAT score. Candidates who are looking for degree course admission at National Law University & Judicial Academy, Assam must have a valid CLAT score. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) began the CLAT 2025 Registration on July 15, 2025. Candidates can fill the CLAT Application Form 2025 until October 15, 2024. All interested candidates can fill out the CLAT Application Form 2025 by visiting the official website; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in. As per NLU Assam NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during UG 5-year placements 2023 stood at INR 6.8 LPA. Further, a total of 16 students were placed and 20 students opted for higher studies out of total 70 students during UG 5-year placements 2023. For admission to National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam LLM course, candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT 2025 counselling will be called by NLU Assam. Candidates, who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists.
