NLu Assam offers ‘Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme’ with the view to supporting students from economically backward classes in their pursuit of education. This scholarship helps students who are pursuing BA, LLB (HONS) five year integrated course, i.e., students of the second; third; fourth and fifth years. The scholarship will be provided to students whose family income is less than INR 8 lakh.

The NLU Assam CLAT Cutoff 2024 has been released for the 5-year integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) courses. The NLU Assam cutoff 2024 was concluded after Round 5 of the admissions list. The closing rank of the BA LLB (Hons) programme stood at 1474 in Round 1 and 1704 in the last round of CLAT cutoff for the general AI category candidates.
For the LLM course, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks were 1267 and 2195. Candidates can refer to the table below to check out the NLU Assam course-wise first and last round closing ranks for the general category.

As per NLU Assam NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during UG 5-year placements 2023 stood at INR 6.8 LPA. Further, a total of 16 students were placed and 20 students opted for higher studies out of total 70 students during UG 5-year placements 2023. For admission to National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam LLM course, candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT 2025 counselling will be called by NLU Assam. Candidates, who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists.

Yes, National Law University (NLU) Delhi has a reservation policy for seats. The seats in the BA LLB (Hons) programme are reserved as follows: 15% for Scheduled Castes (SC), 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 22% for Other Backward Classes (OBC) (non-Creamy Layer).
