NMIMS School of Design Bsc admission is based on candidates' performance in the last qualifying exam. Candidates must apply for the course before the last registration date and appear for the online computer-based entrance exam. The BSc course is offered only in one specialisation, i.e., Animation and VFX. Therefore, direct admission to the NMIMS School of Design BSc course is not applicable.

Candidates who has twelve years of school education with 50% aggregate from a recognised board are eligible for the NMIMS School of Design BSc course. Further, candidates must apply for the course before the last registration date and appear for the online computer-based entrance exam. As per the officisl website, NMIMS School of Design will conduct the entrance test on June 8, 2024.

The NMIMS DAT entrance exam is conducted by SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed to be University. The scores of the exam is considered for admission to design courses offered by the institute.
The NMIMS DAT 2025 exam will be conucted for admission to the BDes (Humanising Technology) programme offered at the School of Design, NMIMS Mumbai.
