No, you can’t join BSc at Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics without NMIMS-NPAT. To enroll in this programme the scores achieved in NMIMS-NPAT examination plays a vital role in securing a seat in BSc course at Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics. NMIMS-NPAT is an university level entrance exam that is important for admission to all courses at Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics.

Candidates who face difficulties downloading the NPAT admit card must refresh the network connections and then try again to access the admit card download. Candidates must also consider using a different web browser to download hall ticket. In case the issues do not resolve, one must reach out of NMIMS admission authorities for a resolution.

No. SVKMs NMIMS releases the NPAT admit card immediately after the candidate schedules the exam attempt. Therefore, candidates do not have the option to change the exam centre allotted after the exam scheduling. Candidates will have to appear for the NPAT exam at the exam centre mentioned in the admit card. The exam scheduling requires the candidates to choose the exam city, date, and venue of the exam centre.

Therefore, candidates cannot change the NPAT exam centre after scheduling the exam.

When closely evaluated, the Quantitative and Numerical Ability is the most difficult and time-taking section in the NPAT exam over the year. However, few questions from the reasoning ability section are foudn to be lengthy as well as time taking but are on an easy to moderate side. The difficulty level across different sections may vary based on the exam session, and can be subjective to candidate's preparation. Therefore, candidates may find other section of the NPAT exam difficult.

Yes, SVKMs NMIMS conducts the NPAT exam across 23 states/UTs in India, including Uttar Pradesh. Candidates can choose the exam city while filling the NPAT application form. NPAT exam will be conducted in the following cities of Uttar Pradesh 

  • Mathura
  • Ghaziabad
  • Greater Noida
  • Kanpur
  • Lucknow
  • Meerut
  • Varanasi

Candidates can also find the list of exam cities in the drop-down menu while filling the online application form.

Candidates must not carry any of the prohibited items to the NMIMS NPAT exam centre. In case the candidates are found with any of the prohibited items they will be asked to leave the test centre. Some of the prohibited items inside the NPAT exam centre include the following:

  • Electronic gadgets
    • Smartphones
    • Smartwatches
    • Calculators
    • Pager
    • Bluetooth device
  • Printed material
  • Notes, etc.
  • Carry bags
  • Purses
  • Wallets
  • Eatables

The prohibited items are not limited to those mentioned above. Candidates must check the NPAT admit card to know more about what is allowed inside the exam centre.

Candidates filling the NPAT application form will be able to choose the exam date, and test centre. SVKMs NMIMS will conduct the NPAT exam after allotting the prefered test centre to the candidates. The applicant login will aid the exam scheduling process. As soon as the candidate choose the prefered exam date, he/she can choose the available test centres on that particular date.
