SVKMs NMIMS releases NPAT merit lists for all courses separately. Candidates may or may not find the NPAT merit list for different courses on a same day. NPAT results are released for specific participating course combination on a single day. Candidates will find the NPAT BBA results for all participating colleges via the application login portal on the same day. NPAT merit list for Commerce stream may not release along with the NPAT BBA merit list.

Yes. Number of NPAT merit lists vary based on the seats available for admission to a particular course. If the NPAT seats are filled with the release of first merit list, SVKMs NMIMS will not release a second merit list. However, if the seats remain vacant after the first merit list based admissions are closed, candidates will find a second round for admissions. SVKMs NMIMS may or may not release more than one merit list for NPAT admissions. Therefore, candidates who do not get an admission offer based on NPAT merit position must explore other admission options.

NPAT merit list and NPAT result is the same thing. SVKMs NMIMS terms NPAT result as NPAT merit list as the candidates can find the merit position while checking the results. Candidates have to login to check the individual merit position after the NPAT results are released. SVKMs NMIMS will mention the merit position, and qualifying status in the login dashboard. The candidate is shortlisted for NMIMS admissions based on his/her performance in the NPAT exam. With the release of the NPAT results, candidates who are shortlisted have to pay the admission fee to secure final admission.

SVKMs NMIMS conducts the NPAT exam with no negative marking. Each correct response marked by the candidate fetches (+)1 mark. Since there is no negative marking, candidates do not get any negative marks for incorrect responses or unattempted questions. NPAT score is not released by SVKMs NMIMS, the institute specifies the NPAT merit position along with the results.

While practising NPAT mock tests or NPAT sample papers online, candidates will have a test like structure. Since there is no sectional time-limit in the NPAT exam, candidates are allowed to navigate across sections. Similarly, NPAT mock tests will not have any sectional time limit. Therefore, candidates practising the NPAT sample papers/mock tests will be able to navigate across different sections of the sample papers.

Candidates can choose the NPAT section based on his/her convinience of answering questions.
