The NRA CET exam pattern varies by educational level. For Class 10, it has 100 questions in 90 minutes. For Class 12, 200 questions in 2 hours. Graduate level has 100 questions in 60 minutes. It includes sections on reasoning, general knowledge, math, and English, with negative marking.

The 12-language NRA CET question paper will be available. There will be multiple-choice, objective questions on the question paper. There will be fifty questions worth one mark in each of the four sections. The overall score for the full paper will be 200, with 0.25 points deducted for each incorrect response.

NRA CET scores will be calculated based on the normalisation process. As the exam will be conducted for Group B and C posts, the number of candidates are large and the exam will be conducted in multiple shifts. In such case, NRA CET score are normalised to adjust the difficulty level of the question paper.
