NSD Exam Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have completed his/her graduation from a recognised university from abroad or India. The student must have completed his/her 10+2 from a recognised board.The minimum qualification for inclusion in the proposed one-year course shall be graduation in any discipline or an equivalent qualification. Yes, there is a reservation criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non -creamy layer) /PwD and other categories in NSD exam. Out of 29 seats, 4 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the scheduled castes (SC); 2 seats are reserved for scheduled tribes (ST); 7 seats are reserved for OBC (Non-creamy layer as notified by the Government), 3 seats are reserved for EWS; and reservation for PwD and other categories, as per government of India rules.

Qualification: Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any stream from any recognized university or college.
Theater Work: Candidates must have participated in minimum six theatre productions.
Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum is 30 years as or on 1st July 2018. Five year age relaxation will be prescribed for the SC/ST candidates.
Language: Candidates must have working knowledge of English and Hindi.
