The KGMU BSc Nursing entrance exam is conducted as part of the UP CNET (Uttar Pradesh Common Nursing Entrance Test). The UP CNET exam was held on May 21, 2025. While the KGMU itself doesn't conduct a separate exam, candidates who want to enroll in the BSc Nursing course at KGMU need to appear for the UP CNET. Regarding eligibility, males are not explicitly excluded from the BSc Nursing course at KGMU, and the UP CNET exam doesn't have any gender restrictions.

Yes, you may be eligible for a BSc in Nursing without appearing for CNET if you meet the eligibility criteria and are admitted through direct admission. 

Eligibility criteria

You must have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects 

You must have passed English as a compulsory subject in Class 11 and 12 

You must be medically fit as declared by the Medical Board constituted by the Government Medical College or the District CMO.

Yes, MPC (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) stream students from Telangana can be eligible for B.Sc Nursing, but it depends on the eligibility conditions of the college and university. Generally, Biology (PCB) stream is required for B.Sc Nursing. However, some institutions may admit MPC students on the basis of a bridge course or additional eligibility test.
