The cut-off for the SAAT (Siksha O Anusandhan University Admission Test) B.Sc. Nursing entrance test is decided on the basis of the highest and the lowest marks every year. Candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English combined. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the aggregate should be a minimum of 45%. The age of eligibility for admission is 17 years as of December 31, 2024. Be attentive to official announcements on the SAAT 2024 cutoff.

To be considered for the B.Sc. in Nursing at NIHMN, one should have passed 12th grade with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology together, and passing marks in English. As you have 50% in 12th grade, you satisfy the minimum percentage requirement. But admission is also on the basis of performance in an entrance test, where you must score at least the 50th percentile for the unreserved category. So, if you score well in the entrance test, you can get admission.

It is entirely dependent on a student's aptitude and interest. Candidates interested in the nursing course may find it challenging yet rewarding. However, at the undergraduate level, nursing course is comparatively easy to pursue for the Class 12th medical aspirants. It is because they have understood the basics in Class 11 and Class 12.

No, you will not be permitted to take both specialisation papers. Until the entrance test does not clash on the same dates. Besides the schedule, you should be eligible for a different speciality. BSc (Hons) Nursing and BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing exams require different eligibility.
