The General Nursing course is different from the ANM in terms of its job scope and study area. GNM will teach you about all the services required in a healthcare facility, like vital monitoring, assistance in medical procedures, medicine administration, documentation, etc. But, in an ANM course, you'll specifically learn about maternal & child health and community health. ANMs also work in rural areas as Social Workers, raising awareness among underserved communities.

The GNM course doesn't require candidates to come from a PCB background. You will get the same career options as a GNM student who passed Class 12 from the Science stream. You can work in any healthcare facility, nursing home, NGO, School, etc., as a GNM Nurse.
All the best.

With that score (49.33% in 2nd PUC) you do not meet the minimum eligibility for B.Sc Nursing at Sushrutha College of Nursing, which requires at least 50% aggregate.
You may need to either:
- Apply to colleges that accept 45%–49%, or
- Consider the GNM (Diploma in Nursing) course, which has lower eligibility criteria.
For admission:
Apply online through the college website.
Based on entrance test and/or counselling. Some courses may also involve a personal interview.
Atee getting selected, submit required documents like mark sheets, ID proof, and category certificate (if applicable).
Tgen, pay the fees to confirm your seat once selected.
