The syllabus for GNM Course is designed in such a way that students learn the technical aspects of patient handling. Students have to do a mandatory 6-month internship after the GNM course. The annual GNM course fee ranges from INR 40,000 to INR 1,00,000 in top GNM Nursing Colleges in India. After GNM Nursing students can pursue a career in nursing such as Clinical Nurse Specialists, Legal Nurse Consultants, Forensic Nurse, Travelling Nurse, etc. Salary after the GNM course ranges from INR 35,000 to INR 42,000. This is expected to increase with work experience.

Admission Process
Eligible candidates have to write an entrance test conducted by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. Candidates who qualify in the written test are then interviewed by the Selection Committee.
Candidates who qualify in the interview must undergo a medical examination and get vaccinated.
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
Minimum education:
10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
