Yes, it is compulsory to have a minimum of 1-year experience for doing MSc. in Nursing. The Eligibility Criteria for this course is given below:
* Candidate must have completed a Bachelors degree in nursing (B.Sc in nursing or B.Sc. Hons. In Nursing or P.B.B.Sc. In Nursing) as recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
* The minimum cut-off is 55% scored at graduation level. The cut-off is 50% for reserved categories.
* Candidate must be a registered nurse or midwife with any of the relevant state nursing councils.
* Candidate must have a minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.

Hi, you need to check with some universities, usually a three or four year degree course is required. Monash, Charles Darwin, James Cook etc. Have good nursing programs. Directly check with the universities. You may have to enroll into a higher level Bachelor's degree in nursing.
