OCAD University does not have its own student residences, but has many housing partners within the city. OCAD U staff do not inspect any of the listed homes or housing options, and do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of any information provided by third-party websites. It is your responsibility to judge their suitability and location. OCAD U cannot and does not accept responsibility for housing arrangements made by persons using any of these services.

Depending on your budget you guys should also decide where you'd prefer to live, OCAD is basically in the heart of downtown so it can be pretty pricey, so be prepared to look for

The funding options are available for international students but are limited. So make sure you have a good financial plan before you start your course. You will also have to prove to Canadian immigration authorities that your financial resources are sufficient to support yourself in order to get a study permit.

Yes, all the students coming from abroad should have a valid study permit for studying at the university. Apply for the permit immediately after obtaining the official offer letter. For every country, the processing time may differ. It might take even 90 days for the application to be processed.

Most of the programs at the university have specific admission requirements, but most do accept a related honours degree or certification in case a student does not possess the specific requirement set for a degree. But it should be noted that the competition is high as the other applicants may be those who might be holding that specifically required degree.

Yes, as the medium of instruction at the university is English, it is important for the students to display proficiency in both written and spoken English which is enough to meet the requirement of classroom instruction, assignments, discussions, etc.
