Clearing the Odisha CHSE exam makes a student eligible for Bachelors degree, and other higher studies. It is also considered as a necessary qualification for several Govt level jobs and other jobs. Those who fail in Odisha CHSE board exam will not be eligible for entrance exams like JEE, NEET, etc.

Odisha CHSE board conducts the CHSE 12th board exam only once in a year. It is held in the month of Feb/March. The board then conducts the supplementary exam in June/July for those who do not clear the 12th board exam. Odisha CHSE supplementary results will be released in August.

Around 4 Lacs students appear for the Odisha CHSE Exam. In 2025, a total of 3,82,729 students appeared for the CHSE 12th examination. Pass percentage was 82.77%.

You can visit the “Examination” or “Downloads” section to find past-year papers and sample papers. Additionally, educational websites and coaching portals often upload PDF versions of solved and unsolved question papers for better preparation. Bookstores in Odisha also sell compiled sets of previous CHSE question papers with solutions. It is advisable to solve at least five years of previous papers to understand the exam pattern and important topics, especially for a subject like Physics.
