For getting an admission into operations and supply-chain management, first you should clear any of the examinations like CAT MAT etc. Then, choose a college which is offering these specializations, then get into the admission procedure into that.

No, it is not equivalent, PGDM and MBA will always have a slight difference, but both the courses are valid and have importance in placements.
