As per records of 2023, University of Engineering, Osmania University had a the highest placement of 24LPA and the lowest of 3LPA. 244 students were successfully placed. 36 Top companies are taking part in recruitment of students. They include HCL, MATHWORKS1, DE SHAW, FANATICS, DARWIN BOX. According to NIRF report, Median package of B.E is 6.50 LPA and M.Tech is 5.5LPA. The percetage of placements in B.E is 84% and in M.Tech is 62%. The percentage of placements is tremendously increasing from past few years.

TS EAMCET is the entrance exam for selecting engineering colleges in Telangana. University college of Engineering, Osmania University opts this exam score as a criteria for admission process. If the rank achieved by candidate in this exam is within the cutoff rank of B.E admission in Osmania university then he/she will be assured in getting B.E via councelling. And this exam ranks are purely based on merit based i.e based on the scores achieved in the TS EAMCET. Thus , getting a safe score in TS EAMCET is necessary.

In order to get admission in University of engineering, Osmania university first a candidate should write an exam called TS EAMCET. The result of TS EAMCET gives a rank which is a main criterion for getting admission in UCE.Then candidate should apply for councelling and pay fees of councelling.Then he/she will be given a time slot for certificate verification .After a successful verification he/she will be allowed to chose the respective branch.According to the rank list seats are allotted.The seats are blocked by paying tution fees.This is the procedure for B.E admission.

According to the information I have, University College of Law, Osmania University does not accept direct admissions without LAWCET.

To get a seat in Osmania University, you have to qualify and get a good rank probably below 800 in the exam conducted by the University itself named as OU-PGCET.

Osmania University MA Psychology Selection Criteria
The selection of the candidates is based on the CPGET (OUCET) entrance exam. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of rank obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the university.
Cut-off - Minimum cut-off mark for the OC/BC category in this course is 25%. There is no minimum cut-off for SC/ST candidates.

To get admission in CPGET, candidates should have minimum of 50% marks in their last qualifying exam.
If you've scored above 50% then yes you are eligible for admissions at Osmania University.

The university offers a total of 22 courses at the undergraduate level. Osmania University UG admissions are offered to courses B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., etc. The minimum eligibility criteria for OU Hyderabad undergraduate courses is that students must have passed higher secondary (10+2) from a recognised board.

Here is the process to apply for degree convocation at Osmania University:
- Go to the university and take a Convocational form from the press
- Go to the bank and buy a DD (from any of the national banks)
- You need to carry passport-size photos, a Xerox of the class 10th mark sheet, class 12th mark sheet and provisional and consolidated mark sheets
