OTET Exam consists of two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Questions are set to assess the candidate's ability to analyze, interpret and apply the subject matter. There is no negative marking. Qualifying marks of OTET Examination The minimum pass mark in each paper is 60%. There are 2 papers in the OTET Exam. OTET Paper 1 Syllabus includes Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-1, Language-2, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies whereas OTET Paper 2 Syllabus includes Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-1, Language-2, Mathematics, and Social Studies.

The OTET result is released by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha. The OTET result is displayed on the official website of the board. All the rights for the OTET exam from release of notification, application form to conduct of the exam and declaration of the results have been given to the BSE Odisha.

The OTET result is based on the final answer key that is released after the release of provisional answer key. The provisional answer key is released after the OTET exams are over.
