The answer is both yes and no. admission to all MBA courses is entrance-based at all the MBA offering institutes of PU. While for an Integrated MBA, students need a valid score in JEE Main exam, admission to UBS and UIAMS is subject to a valid score in CATor PU METexams, respectively. Students who wish to get into the specialisations or courses offered by UIAMS are required to appear for PU MET exam and those who wish to get into UBS are required to have a valid score in CAT exam.

In order to be eligible to pursue MBA from a PU-affiliated institute, students must have completed their UG degrees with at least 50% aggregate. However, those with a Diploma must have at least 60% aggregate in it and along with that have at least five years of research/ teaching/ professional experience. Final admission, however, is subject to a valid score in MET exam conducted by Panjab University for MBA admission followed by GD and PI. 85% of the total final selection weightage is allocated to the MET exam and the remaining 15% of admission chances are based on the performance of the candidates in GD and PI. It basically depends on from which pool do you belong. If you are an U.T. Pool Student then the cut-off is relatively low but if you are an outside U.T. Pool Student then you must have a good XII Merit in order to secure admission.
The seats for the students belonging to U.T. Pool is kept reserved at 85% and that for the Outside U.T. Pool students is kept reserved only at 15%. That means if a college under P.U. has 120 seats, then 102 seats will be kept only for U.T. Students and 18 seats will be kept for Outside U.T. Pool Students!
The colleges like G.G.D.S.D-32, D.A.V.C.-10, and P.G.G.C.-11 experience very high cut-offs whi

All you have to do is fill out the migration form, provide the DMCs (Detail Marks Cards) for the previous semesters that you passed at the university you are applying for, and request migration. The availability may depend on the number of open seats or the number of students who failed that particular batch's or stream's prior semester at Panjab University.
The admission to the Administrative Block has a simple migration form.
