As per the NIRF report released by Central University of Punjab, the course-wise key highlights of Central University of Punjab placements 2023 as compared with 2022 and 2021 are presented below:

The highest package offered in the recent placements is not out yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 has revealed the 2022 median package details. The highest median package for the 2022 passing out batch was INR 8 LPA and was offered to LLM students. Out of 260 LLB graduates 210 were placed successfully during 2022 placements. Earlier, 197 out of 280 LLB students were placed during 2021 placements. From 2020 to 2022, the number of LLB students placed indicates an improving trend. During 2022 placements, the University achieved a good placement record. As per the report, 81% of the LLB batch was placed. Further, the highest median package stood at INR 8 LPA and was offered to LLM students. Both of the universities are renowned for Engineering courses in the state. IKGPTU offer more BTech courses in comparison to Punjab University (PU). As per the unofficial sources, PTU offers 511 BTech programmes through its constituent and affiliated colleges, while PU offers 32 courses.
