Yes Sujatha, LPU offers a part-time Ph.D. in ECE. Let me share details with you.
Eligibility: You should have a minimum of 55% marks in your master's degree in a relevant subject. After that, you have to qualify for the LPUNEST exam if you have not qualified for a national level test such as GATE, UGC NET, CSIR, GPAT, etc. The entrance will have 70% weightage in selection. After that, you have to appear for an interview and qualify for the same and have 30% weightage for the final selection.
You may avail of scholarships also on the basis of LPUNEST or National Level Test.
There is a special scholarship for female students to pursue a full-time or part-time Ph.D. at LPU.
The highlight of the program is the Flexi-Course Work option specially designed to accommodate professionals wherein a student can choose the best-suited option to complete the course work.

4 days course work every month
(Preferably every second week: Thu-Sun)

(CS/IT) degree should apply for Ph.D. (Computer Applications). - The applicants with Masters degree in distance education or online mode are not allowed to take admission in the Ph.D. Engineering Programmes. - An applicant who has completed Company Secretary CS course from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with Minimum of 55% aggregate marks is eligible to apply for admission Ph.D. (Commerce) and Ph.D. (Management). LPU conducts LPU NEST for Ph.D. aspirants. Research Scholars studying in Post-Graduation can apply for LPU NEST. LPU NEST provides an extensive opportunity to the aspirants who wish to join Ph.D. programme at LPU and pursue their career in the direction of research. The purview of this exam is to identify Ph.D. aspirants that have potential to engage in ground-breaking research and inspire future generations. Option III Duration - 15 days - November to December 2021 - 09:00 A. M. - 06:00 P. M. (daily)
For Full Time Ph.D. students :
After presenting a State-Of-the-Art (SOTA) seminar, there is fair chance to the students to pursue teaching assistantship in LPU only. Though the selection is completely depends upon selection committee & requirement. Scholarship Opportunity:
