Graduation in commerce and accounting B.Com, BBA, MBA in Finance, M.Com which is equivalent to 120 credits required to sit for CPA exam is the CPA eligibility in India and some states also accept CA/ CMA/ Intermediate passed/ CS pass candidates. Candidates must also have a valid international passport.

All the programmes at Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University are offered in distance mode except B. Lib. ISC and MCA. So the course would be in distance mode with some on campus classes.

I want to tell you that you are eligible for doing CA but your field is totally different, so you have to start with the beginning means you have to gain basics of commerce stream. I have seen many students who do CA, and they belong to the Science background, so it is impossible, but you have to work hard. All the best.
