If only you had provided the college or university about which you were talking, better information could have been given. Be that as it may, let me state that in normal college or university session starts from Jul. On the other hand, there are invariably two sessions in open university or in distance learning process.

You can do the same provided there is a vacancy as such. And also for purpose of ground staff you need to have certain specialised qualifications. The qualifications however differ based on nature of job and mostly aeronautical engineering students are preferred for ground staff else there are jobs that really need not much of qualifications as such and you might be temporarily employed.
