Second Round of Counselling: Starts in the fourth week of July 2025. Total three rounds of counselling are conducted for HP PAT.

While filling out the Assam PAT counselling, the candidates will have to upload a document of their proof of birth/age. The documents that will be accepted as the proof of birth/age are - Birth certificate, HSLC/TSLC Pass Certificate or HSLC/TSLC Admit Card. If these documents are not uploaded as per the official specifications, then the authorities will not accept the counselling form.

All eligible candidates will have to complete the Assam PAT counselling registration process before the final date. This is an essential step to participate in the Assam PAT counselling process. To register for Assam PAT counselling, the candidates will have to log in using their PAT 2025 roll number and date of birth. After logging in, the candidates will have to update the basic details required in the form.

During the Assam PAT counselling process, the candidates will have to select their choice of course and college. It is to be noted that the selection of courses and colleges have to be done in the order of preference. The candidates are advised to be careful while selecting their order of preference since it will be an important factor during the seat allotment process.

During the Assam PAT counselling, the candidates will be selected for admissions into the Diploma courses offered by the participating Engineering and Technology institutes. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability. Therefore, the candidates are advised to be very careful while submitting their order of preference for Assam PAT seat allotment. Candidates are advised to submit as many preferences as they can to have higher chances of being allotted in their preferred institute.
