The registration process typically commences in the month of November of the year preceeding the admission year. NIFT Patna grants BFTech admission to candidates who are eligible as per the below-given eligibility criteria:
- Candidate must be an Indian Citizen
- Candidate must not have exceeded the age of 25 years as of August 01 of the year of admission (a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit may be provided to candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category)
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 (with Mathematics) from a recognised board/council; or Senior Secondary School examination of the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects (including Mathematics); or a three/four-year AICTE-approved Diploma
