In Patna, St. Xavier college of management and technology and international school of management Patna (ISM) Patna are the most recognised colleges of BBA in Patna as far as discipline and good placements are concerned. IIT Patna (dominates in engineering, but it does have a BBA), CIMAGE Group of Colleges, and Amity University Patna are other high-ranked ones. Things to consider include the level of expertise among faculty, industry exposure, specializations on offer and student reviews when selecting. B.Tech Civil engineering in Patna: The key governmental institutions are National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna. Also, Bakhtiyarpur College of Engineering (BCE), Patna is a governmental engineering institution situated in the Patna district. Faculty at BIT Patna are qualified and dedicated Ph.D. teachers who are kind in nature especially in management, CSE, and labs. However, there's significant inconsistency, with strong educators alongside less effective ones. Around 30% are outstanding, while others are average. Yes, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra have the good and qualified faculities who are helpful and kind in nature and they have the Ph.D. teachers to teach the students and they can teach the logic for how to approach the problems and how to solve them.

To apply for B.E./B.Tech at BIT Mesra – Patna Extension Center (2025):
- Appear for JEE Main, secure a valid rank.
- Register for JoSAA/CSAB counselling (expected to begin ~June 3, 2025)
- Select BIT Patna during the choice-filling process .
- After seat allotment, complete document verification and pay fees via the online portal.
Alternatively, lateral entry (2nd-year B.Tech) is available (for diploma/B.Sc. holders) by online BIT Mesra application (May–June window).

No Direct (Management) Admission for B.Tech
- According to Shiksha.com, B.Tech admissions at BIT Patna are based only on JEE Main score and counselling. Management or direct admissions are not allowed.
