AIIMS paramedical 2024 exam will be conducted on July 6, 2024 as per the official notification released by AIIMS Delhi on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. AIIMS Paramedical 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for the paramedical courses in AIIMS are advised to go through the eligibility criteria for the desired course before filling out the applications. If any candidate is found to be ineligible for the course, their application will be cancelled. Also, the registration fee paid by such candidates shall be forfeited. To avoid complications, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements before filling out the AIIMS paramedical 2024 registration form.

Eligibility criteria for AIIMS paramedical courses

  • They must be a citizen of India
  • They must have attained the age of 17 as of December 31, 2024
  • They must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised institution/board

Mandatory subjects in Class 12

Candidates applying for Bachelor of Optometry, BSc Medical Technology in Radiotherapy or BSc (Hons) Medical Technology in Radiography courses must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology/Mathematics. For all other courses, Biology is compulsory.

Yes, you can apply for any of the paramedical courses offered by AIIMS provided you fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the institute. AIIMS has established in the eligibility criteria that any candidate with the background of Physics Chemistry Biology or mathematics as mandatory subjects is eligible to apply for the paramedical course offered by AIIMS. AIIMS Paramedical 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

Read the important AIIMS paramedical exam day guidelines to know what is expected from the candidates on the D-day at the exam centre: 

  • To avoid delay in beginning the test, candidates must report to the exam centre at least 30 minutes in advance
  • Candidates must report to the exam centre by 8.45 am
  • No candidate shall be allowed to enter the exam centre after 9.45 am
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before 11.30 am
  • Candidates must carry the admit card, a valid photo ID proof and one passport-sized photograph on the exam day
  • Candidates will not be allowed to carry any textual material such as books or notes to the exam centre
  • Candidates will not be allowed to carry any electronic device such as a mobile phone, Bluetooth or calculator to the exam centre
  • Also, wristwatches, ornaments, bags, belts, etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre

AIIMS Paramedical Counselling

AIIMS Paramedical 2023 Counselling Updates: 

AIIMS Delhi conducted the Round-1 counselling for the BSc paramedical programmes. Candidates were allowed to exercise the web options (choice-filling and option locking) at the official website from August 14, 2023. The AIIMS paramedical choice filling window was available till August 18, 2023. AIIMS Delhi released the counselling schedule for both Round-1 and Round-2. The 2nd round was initiated after the completion of 1st round. Exercising of Choices will not be opened for 2nd Round of Seat allocation. The seat allotment result for Round-1 was released on August 23, 2023. The 2nd round was initiated ONLY after the completion of 1st round. As the entire counselling process was being managed online, candidates had to visit aiimsexams.ac.in to participate in the counselling events.

  1. Login to their MyPage for BSc Paramedical Courses Online Seat Allocation
  2. BSc Paramedical Courses Online Seat Allocation portal will allow candidates to make choices of seats the portal will be opened for dates specified as per the schedule released in the official notification by AIIMS Delhi.
  3. All the candidates who have been allocated seats in the 1st Round are required to login to their MyPageCandidates can make eitther of the two choices:
    1. OPTION 1: ACCEPT allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation
    2. OPTION 2:  ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation 
  4. All the candidates who are allocated seats are mandatorily required to report in-person at the allotted college/institute with original documents and a Demand Draft of INR 1 Lakh.

Candidates who did not participate in Round 1 of Online Seat Allocation were NOT ELIGIBLE for Round 2 of Online Seat Allocation but can participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation (if any).

There are a total of 171 paramedical seats available in AIIMS for paramedicla courses. This excludes the 571 seats B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing seats offered by the institute basis the same examination. In 2023, there were addition of seats in Paramedical courses at AIIMS Kalyani & AIIMS Rishikesh for academic session of August 2023 in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (MRIT), Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), and Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) programme.
