PES University is more suitable for Computer Science Engineering than Amrita College of Engineering in Coimbatore in terms of placement.

The official placement statistics have not been released yet by PES University. However, the NIRF report 2023 has been released for Management departments. As per the report,  271 MBA students were placed during 2022 placements. The median package offered to MBA students during PES University placements 2022 was INR 5.50 LPA. Yes, PES university placement rate is better than Jain regarded to be university placement rate since in 2023, total number of candidates in Jain University is 742 with 395 students placed with 53.23%, the highest package is INR 42 LPA and average package is INR 6.92 LPA. However, in PES 409 candidates, 276 students get placed at a rate of 67.48 percent. The highest package is INR 65 LPA, while the average is INR 7.5 LPA.

The University has maintained a good placement record in recent years. The placement rate for BTech was the same in 2021 and 2022, however, it dropped by 4% in 2023. On the other hand, the year-on-year improving trend was recorded in the percentage of MTech students placed.
