From the information that I have gathered it seems that lateral admission in Dibrugarh University is given based on the marks obtained in either the Diploma in Engineering or in B.Sc. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about doing lateral admission in petroleum engineering in Dibrugarh University. If you come across any other information about any entrance test for this please feel free to let me know.

Gateway to DUIET is via CEE and JEE only, there is no other way to take admissions in its B.Tech courses. So work hard and prepare well for these examinations if you want the branch of your choice.

For preparations of KCET, you just have to go through the NCERT textbooks and previous years question papers. The fee of presidency university Bangalore is around 190000 per year excluding hostels.For getting petroleum engg here you must have to score below 50k rank. All the best.

The candidate must be a citizen of India with a permanent resident certificate of Assam (Not applicable for JEE-2018 (Mains)
For admission into the B.Tech Progrmmes the Candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination individually in the same attempt without any Grace Mark in thesubject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and with minimum of 50% (45% incase of SC and 40% in case of ST) marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry,Mathematics.
The candidate must appear in the Entrance Examination for admission CEE-2018 (Engineering) or JEE-2018 (Mains) score
